Benefits
Long Range:
NFER ® systems’ low frequencies propagate
better than the high frequencies used by
incumbent systems. Low frequencies diffract
around or penetrate through even large
obstacles that would block high frequency
signals. Typical ranges exceed 30m even in
complicated propagation environments.
High Accuracy:
Low frequencies are less prone to multipath,
yielding more robust and accurate positioning
in complicated indoor environments.
Low Cost:
Low frequency hardware is inherently simpler
and less expensive than comparable high
frequency hardware. The wireless enabled
QT TM -400 Locators require no expensive
cabling or installation. Finally, long range
means significantly less infrastructure.
