Medicine West presents a command coin to Hospitalman Julian Gordon, assigned to Naval<br />

Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP) during the Veteran’s Village of San Diego Stand Down <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

Gordon received the command coin for coordinating more than 120 Navy volunteers from NHCP<br />

for the three-day event. Stand Down is an annual three-day event where an estimated one thousand<br />

of San Diego’s homeless veterans can receive a variety of free services, including help finding<br />

employment, substance abuse counseling, health care, and legal assistance.<br />
