Upper Bucklebury is a popular village lying on the high ground above the Kennet Valley<br />
between Reading and Newbury bordering the ancient Bucklebury Common which provides a<br />
delightful rural backcloth free from intrusive development and being a designated area of<br />
“Outstanding Natural Beauty” with an abundance of footpaths and bridleways stretching for<br />
miles through unspoilt countryside.<br />

Located nearby is Thatcham, which having grown considerably over the past 20 years or so is<br />
