welding shop. This course is also of interest to

personnel or others who wish to understand the
unique attributes of aluminum welding, and the
requirements of certification.

Level 2 Upgrade Course
This seven-day course (52.5 hours) is designed for
Level 1 Welding Inspectors who want to further
increase their knowledge of inspection and
testing techniques.

Radiation Safety & Protection (CEDO)
This five-day course (40 hours) is the first step in
meeting the training course requirement for a
Certified Exposure Device Operator (CEDO).

Radiation Safety Officer (RSO)
This five-day course (40 hours) is a skills
development and professional upgrading
course for personnel with industrial radiography
experience.
• Calgary – Aug 13-17
Welding Inspection Course Level 1

The Level 1 inspection course is 9 days of
instruction, reviewing the necessary welding and
welding inspection theory to challenge the Level
1 Welding Inspector certification examinations.
Day 10 of the course gives you the opportunity
to challenge the CSA W178.2 Visual Welding
Inspector Level 1 certification examinations.

Welding Inspector Level 1- Exam Preparation
This ten-day course (67.5 hours) is designed for
individuals with at least one year of industry
experience who want to increase their
knowledge of welding, metallurgy, inspection
and testing techniques as they prepare to
challenge the CSA W178.2 Level 1 Welding
Inspector Examinations.
