This family was blessed by a special friend of the family, Sallie Sue Brown (born circa
1930; died 4 March 2008, aged 77 years, in Sanford, Lee County, NC; interred in Olivia
Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sanford). Sallie intervened and assisted in raising
these children during periods of difficulty.
