We are excited to announce that the <strong>2012</strong> <strong>Kennedy</strong> <strong>Middle</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>Talent</strong> <strong>Show</strong> will take<br />
place in late April!<br />
Students – show us your talent! You can per<strong>form</strong> a skit or comedy routine, recite a poem,<br />
dance, sing, mime, play an instrument, per<strong>form</strong> gymnastics, karate, magic, puppetry or<br />
share any other talent that you have. Individual acts can be up to 2 minutes and group<br />
acts up to 3 minutes. Please note: Any act, costume, or music that the talent show<br />
committee decides is inappropriate in any way will not be accepted<br />
For those who wish to show their talents behind the scenes, we need your help with: MC<br />
(Master of Ceremonies – announcing the acts), writing scripts and jokes for announcers,<br />
ushering and handing out programs, decorations for the stage, backstage crew, music and<br />
lights, and everything else it takes to put on a show.<br />
A few important details:<br />
- The attached registration <strong>form</strong> must be submitted by February 15 th .<br />
- An entry fee of $10 per student must be submitted with the registration <strong>form</strong>.<br />
Please make checks out to KMS PTO.<br />
- Music must be submitted and approved by the talent show committee by March 4 th .<br />
- 2 mandatory dress rehearsals will be held. All acts will be screened for<br />
appropriateness of content and costumes. The dress rehearsals will take place<br />
after school during April – exact dates and times to be announced soon.<br />
