CLAYCASTLE PITCH & PUTT CLUB
The Club's 25th Anniversary celebrations came to a premature
start on Wednesday last when the Club's flag representing the 25
years of the Club being in existence was raised for the first time.
The flag was raised by Margaret O Driscoll, wife of the late Noel
O Driscoll and also by Mossie Swayne, husband of the late Daisy
Swayne. Members of the Club were also present for this flag raising
ceremony. Founded in 1986, the club has grown over the years
to become one of the most active clubs in Youghal and currently
has over 80 members. As a part of the Club celebrating it's 25th
year, the Munster Matchplay Championships will be held here at
Claycastle on the 28th and 29th May 2011. It will be a fantastic
weekend of pitch and putt!
Keohane who qualified recently for the upcoming Irish Open
