Wine industry scholarships at Constellation
Constellation Brands New Zealand Ltd today announced the introduction of four new scholarships to support the
development of the New Zealand wine industry. Under a strong Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme
with a focus on supporting education, Constellation Brands New Zealand has developed relationships
with key industry tertiary institutions to bring together four scholarships. The scholarships are intended to add
value to the New Zealand wine industry by supporting students interested in developing a career in the industry.
Constellation Brands also describes stronger ties with tertiary institutions as being vital to the on-going development
of the industry. Complementary to the external scholarships, Constellation Brands New Zealand has also
initiated internal scholarships to support tertiary level education for employee family members. These are intended
to encourage further education in any tertiary field and to assist with alleviating the financial impact this
level of education can bring to family members. Five scholarships to family members of Constellation Brands New
Zealand Ltd employees will be offered annually. “Supporting education globally is a key component of our company’s
CSR program and we are very pleased to establish these new scholarships to further the interest and
passion about wine,” said Joe Stanton, Chief Executive Officer. For More Information contact Julie Bassett, SVP
