Freshstart Smoking
Cessation Program
Developed by the American
Cancer Society and presented by
a Meridian clinical advocate, this
program is designed to help adults
quit smoking. Four one-hour
sessions. Registration is required.

LIFE Fitness Fights Fatigue
Group Exercise Class
Exercise programs help patients
with cancer meet the goal of
maintaining cardiovascular endurance,
muscular strength, and level
of functioning, which produces
the following benefits: decreased
nausea and fatigue and improved
physical endurance and quality of

are held at Meridian Life Fitness at
Ocean Medical Center in Brick.
Therapeutic Yoga
This class is appropriate for anyone
living with cancer, whether just
diagnosed, receiving treatment, or in
remission. Thera peutic yoga can help
improve sleep, mood, and overall

CARDIAC SERVICES
Heart-Healthy Holiday Tea
Sip tea and spice up your life. Join
Meridian Health registered nurses
and dietitians to review the signs
and symptoms of heart disease, the
health benefits of drinking tea, and
the heart-health and cancer-fighting
properties of herbs and spices. Registration
is required, and seating is
limited. Tea and light refreshments
will be served.
