Rajamangala University of Technology<br />

(RMUT) was established in 1975 as an<br />

educational institute and a department in<br />

the Ministry of Education, with a<br />

commitment to provide technological<br />

education, undertakes research and<br />

extends services to society.<br />

<strong>No</strong>te: RMUT is the new name of RIT as in the Royal Gazette on<br />

an Act of parliament “RMUT” on January 18, 2005.<br />

“RMUT focuses on producing a national<br />

workforce with technological expertise".<br />

Vision: Rajamangala University of<br />

Technology will take a leadership in the<br />

multi-disciplinary educational management<br />

of international standard, with an aim to<br />

produce qualified graduates and upgrade<br />

the quality of the national workforce to be<br />

well-equipped with professional and<br />

technological skills. While gearing towards<br />

excellence, it will also offer good values in<br />

society.<br />

Faculty of Engineering<br />

Faculty of Engineering, originally named Faculty<br />

of Engineering Technology, is one of 13 faculties<br />

of RMUTT that offer Bachelor Degree of<br />

Engineering.<br />

In 1975, the faculty was established and located<br />

at Thewes Campus under administration of<br />

Rajamangala Institute of Technology (RIT),<br />

Ministry of Education. In 1994, the faculty was<br />

moved to the Main Campus, Klong 6, Thanyaburi,<br />

Pathumthani. On January 18, 2005, the<br />

Rajamangala University of Technology was<br />

separated into 9 universities and this campus<br />

was changed and established to be Rajamangala<br />

Aims:<br />

1. To deliver practical Engineers who are<br />

graduated with a Bachelor Degree of<br />

Engineering (B.Eng.) to the Thai community. In<br />

response to the workforce and industrial<br />

development demands of the Country.<br />

2. To carry out research into vocational<br />

education and technology and promote<br />

researchers of these fields.<br />

3. To train its own staffs as well as staffs from<br />

other official institutions. In order to upgrade<br />

their educational standard and knowledge.<br />
