Rajamangala University of Technology
(RMUT) was established in 1975 as an
educational institute and a department in
the Ministry of Education, with a
commitment to provide technological
education, undertakes research and
extends services to society.
Note: RMUT is the new name of RIT as in the Royal Gazette on
an Act of parliament “RMUT” on January 18, 2005.
“RMUT focuses on producing a national
workforce with technological expertise".

Vision: Rajamangala University of
Technology will take a leadership in the
multi-disciplinary educational management
of international standard, with an aim to
produce qualified graduates and upgrade
the quality of the national workforce to be
well-equipped with professional and
technological skills. While gearing towards
excellence, it will also offer good values in
society.

Faculty of Engineering
Faculty of Engineering, originally named Faculty
of Engineering Technology, is one of 13 faculties
of RMUTT that offer Bachelor Degree of
Engineering.
In 1975, the faculty was established and located
at Thewes Campus under administration of
Rajamangala Institute of Technology (RIT),
Ministry of Education. In 1994, the faculty was
moved to the Main Campus, Klong 6, Thanyaburi,
Pathumthani. On January 18, 2005, the
Rajamangala University of Technology was
separated into 9 universities and this campus
was changed and established to be Rajamangala
Aims:
1. To deliver practical Engineers who are
graduated with a Bachelor Degree of
Engineering (B.Eng.) to the Thai community. In
response to the workforce and industrial
development demands of the Country.
2. To carry out research into vocational
education and technology and promote
researchers of these fields.
3. To train its own staffs as well as staffs from
other official institutions. In order to upgrade
their educational standard and knowledge.
