Sub: TATKARE Friends & Family Group of Companies SCAM:<br />
Companies in the names of Employees & Dummies, Money Laundering,<br />
Benami Transactions, Grabbing Agriculture Land, Abnormal/illegal<br />
transactions, Transactions with banned <strong>com</strong>panies<br />
For the past few days political circles and the media are abuzz with news being<br />
circulated regarding manipulation-scam involving the Maharashtra’s Minister for<br />
Water Resources, Mr Sunil Tatkare Friends & Family Group of Companies.<br />
This is to bring to your notice that the much debated issue recently highlighted in<br />
both the print and other media regarding involvement of Mr. Sunil Tatkare and his<br />
family members, in money laundering activities, parking scam money, corrupt<br />
practices, mis use of power, using the medium of incorporated entities both listed<br />
and unlisted public and private limited <strong>com</strong>panies, has been deeply studied by our<br />
team, based on the data available through various regulators and agencies.<br />
Many irregularities have been discovered from the analysis and perusal of the same.<br />
We are enclosing here with documents in connection with the above. Just for<br />
example….<br />
It has been observed and found that one of Mr. Tatkare’s <strong>com</strong>pany Multiventure<br />
Agro & Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. has a shareholding pattern where 45% percent of the<br />
shares (Annexure List of shareholding of Multiventure Agro & Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.)<br />
are owned by Yash V jewels, a <strong>com</strong>pany which is banned by SEBI from buying, or<br />
dealing in any securities vide its order dated 23 rd April 2009<br />

Tatkare’s created layers of <strong>com</strong>panies to cover up the actual beneficiaries &<br />
investors. Companies are formed in the name of close associates, employees,<br />
agents & dummies. The promoters includes<br />

Tatkare’s gardener Kiran Keshav Sarange, was only 19 years old when Tatkare<br />
formed nine <strong>com</strong>panies in his name. They are:<br />

3. Orange Tree Agro Est Pvt Ltd. 1/4/2009<br />

5. Appleberry Agrotech Pvt Ltd. 13/8/2009<br />
6. Waxflower Green Agro Pvt Ltd. 13/8/2009<br />
7. Baytree Agri Farms 17/8/2009<br />
8. Kiran Agri Farms Pvt Ltd 28/8/2009<br />
9. Aaryamaan Agri Farms Pvt Ltd 5/3/2010<br />
Hence, to summarize the charges level against Mr. Tatkare and his family and<br />
friends are:<br />
1. Huge Land Bank Scam<br />
2. Dozens of Companies formed in the name of employees & dummies<br />
3. Dozen <strong>com</strong>panies formed in the name of 19 year old employee/gardener<br />
4. Layers created to cover actual beneficiaries/investors<br />
5. Money Laundering activity behind the Corporate veil<br />
6. Creation of Hundreds of Crores of Empire in few years<br />
7. Cornering Agriculture Land<br />
8. Violation of Sec 63 (1) land ceiling act<br />

It is an appeal to the regulator to conduct inquiry, investigation and scrutiny of<br />
all the Financial/Corporate/Money/Laundering……. transactions that have<br />
been done by Mr. Tatkare, in the last 5 years and verify the title deeds and<br />
other relevant documents of all the land that is currently owned by him, his<br />
family and friends and which belongs to the <strong>com</strong>panies, which have been<br />
formed presumably purely for the purpose of money laundering and<br />
accumulation of more and more land converting Agricultural into Nonagricultural.<br />
The documents from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Audited Statements, Land<br />
Revenue Records from Collector, Registrar’s Office and Tehsildar which reveals that<br />
‘Tatkare's Friends and Family Group of Companies’ controls hundred <strong>com</strong>panies,<br />
over 1000 acres of agriculture land in Ambivali, Dhagadwadi, Kihim and Shekhadi &<br />
other places i.e. from Mumbai to Goa.<br />
We are also enclosing a small list of contracts given for irrigation projects, the<br />
violation & cost escalation.<br />
