The industry’s latest programmable PLC-based<br />
controls provide the ultimate in control flexibility of<br />
the milk pipeline wash process. Over 60 programming<br />
options allow users to manage wash cycle time, number,<br />
combination, chemical usage, delays for equipment and<br />
much more.<br />
Standard components and features:<br />
• Low voltage power supply allows for local or remote low<br />
voltage operation. <strong>System</strong> can also operate with high<br />
voltage if needed.<br />
• Three chemical pumps – 14 oz./min. – allow flexibility when<br />
mixing chemicals. This provides efficient use of chemicals<br />
for best cleaning effectiveness. Chemical pumps are built<br />
for maximum life and durability with minimum service<br />
requirements.<br />
• Low voltage system drain valve for added safety.<br />
• Divert valve is vacuum controlled for operator safety.<br />
• Milk/Wash valve control ensures proper flow of wash water<br />
through the milk pipeline as well as proper wash water drainage.<br />
• High capacity water fill valves are standard on the <strong>Defender</strong>,<br />
at 3/4 inch for fastest wash vat fill.<br />
• Adjustable cyclone air injectors create a wash slug or wall of<br />
water ensuring all internal milk pipeline surfaces are cleaned with<br />
the most efficient use of water and chemicals.<br />
• Milk pump control allows milk pump to continue running after<br />
wash cycle is complete to ensure system is fully drained.<br />
• Temporary vacuum pump shut-off feature prevents potential flooding<br />
of the receiver trap for continued system cleaning.
