Step 1
Finding yourself a good Installer is essential, ideally one Marshalls
recommend. Remember you will rely on their advice, expertise and
craftsmanship, so plan early. Good Installers are in demand and will need
some notice.
Step 2
Talk through your own ideas with the Installers. They will tell you what
is feasible and should contribute their own ideas and recommendations.
Through this discussion you will judge whether they are someone you can
work with.
Step 4
Take your time to select the best product you can afford. These are
hardwearing, quality products that you will be living with for years. This
brochure is packed with choice but seek the advice of your contractor or
local stockist who has many years experience of installing products and
will keep you on track.
Step 5
The best contractors will advise on the necessary drainage and the subbase
beneath your patio. Do not overlook this, the drainage and water
management from your patio must comply with current regulations.
Step 3
Get more than one quotation and in writing; make sure they quote like for
like. The cheapest isn’t always the best. Choose the contractor who you
feel will deliver what you need. Ask to see examples of their work, even
talk to their former customers.
Step 6
