Composition / information on ingredientsGeneral composition for cove and cornice: Calciumsulphate dihydrate encased in paper liners, naturalconstituents may include minor amounts of quartz. Smallamounts of starch, foam and dispersants may be added.General composition for strips and battens: Calciumsulphate dihydrate with a glass fibre tissue immediatelybelow the surface of the board on both sides and a corereinforced with glass fibre rovings.4. Handling and storageUse – Minimise dust generation when sawing or sanding inpoorly ventilated places. Avoid eye contact – see Section 8for recommended personal protective equipment andSection 3 for hazard identification.Manual handling – Lengths can be unwieldy, use anappropriate lifting technique. The weight of each lengthcan vary between products. For manual handling purposesassume a maximum weight of approx 1.4kg per linearmetre. Individual carton weights can be found in bothtables on page one.Mechanical handling – The dimensions of the pallet varydepending on the product size. To avoid potentiallyoverloading a lift truck, it is important that any effect onload centres is considered.
