Northern Arizona Scenic Wine Country Tour – A
Couple of Tastings in Page Springs
For those of you wanting to get to enjoy local wines, but
do it at the “vineyards”, this is your perfect tour. Although
there are over a dozen establishments to taste wine in the
area, there are only four actual vineyard locations to
sample the wine. On this tour, we take you to two of these
vineyards.
Enjoy some of the majestic red rock scenery passing
canyon, bluff, and red rock vista as you head out to the
area where wine making got it’s start in northern Arizona.
Come on out to Cornville! We take you to the Page
Springs area of Cornville where over a decade ago, John Marcus started the first
vineyard, Echo Canyon whose tasting room
is in Jerome. Just down the road from Echo
Canyon is Senator McCain’s compound. A
little further down the road, you find
Sycamore Canyon Vineyard which has its
tasting room in Sedona at The Art of Wine.
Currently there are three vineyards in Page
Springs who have onsite tasting rooms that
are open to the public. Based on what
types of wines you enjoy, we can make the
recommendation to go to either Javelina
Leap Vineyard, Oak Creek Vineyard, or
Page Springs Cellars. Of course if there is a
place you wish to visit, we are happy to take you
there.
This tour includes water, two wine tastings, and a
cheese plate (or comparable food item). It is a
vehicle base tour, lasts about 3 hours, and costs
just $145 per adult. If you wish to extend your
tour beyond three hours, it’s just $35 per hour
per adult more.
