For over three decades, ALPINA has been successfully pursuing the aim of protecting these 14 most important grams of our body better than 

ever – by offering the best possible sports glasses. Hearing, tasting, smelling, feeling – all other human senses are dominated by sight. Good 

vision is particularly important in sport. Anyone who’s ever run down a ski slope “blind” in foggy weather or pedaled their bike with their eyes 

closed is aware of this. ALPINA has managed to develop glasses that ensure good vision even when visibility is poor or humidity is high. They 

protect the eyes not only from undesirable flying objects like insects, gravel or dust but also against permanent attacks by aggressive ultraviolet

Every pair of ALPINA glasses also embodies a lot of manual and mental work. Ideas mature into sketches. They are discussed, changed, and 

the best ones ultimately selected for hand-made prototyping. Short channels in the development department in Friedberg near Augsburg are a 

crucial advantage when it comes to making rapid and effective changes to specific details. After all, ALPINA’s sports glasses are not only designed 

for protection but also for good looks. For the 2013 ALPINA collection, product developers and designers placed a special focus on bold, 

trendy color combinations. Naturally, ALPINA relies on in-house high tech as well when it comes to the lenses. With self-adjusting Varioflex 

tinting, contrast enhancing QUATTROFLEX and QUATTROFLEX+ polarization lenses or the magnetic lens retainers of its S-Line, ALPINA has been

TWIST FIT NOSE 

Good sports glasses have an adjustment system for any 

nose shape and width. Like TWIST FIT NOSE – with a mechanism 

for stepless rotation inside the nose pad. 

ADJUSTABLE INCLINATION 

Thanks to adjustable temples the glasses can be tilted away 

from the forehead in sweat-inducing uphill climbs. Downhill, 

tilting them toward the forehead reduces draft. 

OPTIMIZED AIRFLOW 

Heavily curved lenses in combination with indirect air flow 

ensure draft- and fog-free vision even in fast outdoor sports. 

VENTING LENS 

Vents between the upper frame and the lens ensure nonfogged 

vision at all times even in sweat-inducing sports.

All TRI glasses have three different lenses on board: a clear 

one for bad weather, an orange one for diffuse, low-contrast
