India has already become a member of EAN Worldwide<br />
and EAN Numbering which are the basic specifications<br />
worldwide called European Article number practiced<br />
worldwide. So any bar code number approved by EAN<br />
India will remain applicable world over and it will<br />
reflect the same product and company information.<br />

Luncheon Address by <strong>US</strong> Ambassador Mulford<br />
<strong>Indo</strong>-American Chamber of Commerce, Rajasthan<br />
Branch, organized a luncheon meeting with<br />
H.E. Dr. David C. Mulford, <strong>US</strong> Ambassador to India, on<br />
Mr. Rajiv Arora, Chairman, IACC, Rajasthan Branch<br />
presenting memento to H.E. Dr. David Mulford, while<br />
Mr. Vikram Madhok, Regional President IACC (NIC)<br />
looks on.<br />

The Ambassador praised the success of Rajasthani<br />
entrepreneur in preserving the desert state's culture and<br />
traditions and utilizing the monetary contribution<br />
received to the development of the state. “Rajasthan is a<br />
unique blend of suave business operators and the rich<br />
crafts and historical monuments are preserved for<br />
posterity,” he said.<br />
Mr. Rajiv Arora, Chairman, Rajasthan Branch outlined<br />
the need of growth in tourism sector, and said that with<br />
industries in the state looking up, Rajasthan soon<br />
would provide a big market for the investors to export<br />
machinery.<br />
The state offers vast investment opportunities in<br />
potential sectors such as gems and jewelry,<br />
infrastructure, mines and minerals, agro food<br />
processing, electronics, software he added.<br />
IACC NIC Regional President Mr. Vikram Madhok and<br />
Mr. Rajiv Jain, Vice-Chairman, IACC, Rajasthan Branch<br />
