Expressions of lnterest (EOI) for the lease. develooment and operation of a
tourist resort on a designated island to be identified before the issuance ofthe
Reouest for Proposal (RFP) in consideration of the development of a domestic
airport on the island ofKudahuvadhoo in Dhaalu Atoll
Letter oflnvitation
The Government of Maldives IGOM) represented by the Ministry ofTourism, Arts and
Culture (MoTAC) invites eligible investors, local or foreign with demonstrated
financial capability to register their interest by submitting an Expressions of Interest
IEOIJ for the lease, deve]opment and ope.ation of a tourist resort on a designated
island to be identified before the issuance of the Request for Proposal (RFPI in
considerationofthedevelopmentofadomesticairportontheislandofKudahuvadhoo
in Dhaalu Atoll in accordance with the guidelines and specifications provided by the
Govemment. The detail ofthe guidelines afld the specifications will be provided at the
information sessjon on 15th August 2013 at 140ohrs.
The Ministry will strictly adhere to the guidelines outlined in this document.
Composition ofEOI & Criteria
1. Letter of Application indicating:
Name, title address and telephone number of the Investor or Principal
who will serve as the Contact for this project.
2. Details of the individual, firm, company or consortium, including company
profile, expertise and resource capacity.
3. Brief back$ound of senior management personnel.
4. Audited financial statement ofCompany or Firm for past 3 years.
