Mathcad Client software, from MathSoft
Engineering and Education Inc., lets
you use extranets and the Internet to
share applications and worksheets
created in Mathcad.
Because it supports the MathML standard, you can
publish mathematics-related presentations and content
online. In addition, you can combine the navigation capabilities
of your Web browser with the math display
and calculation capabilities of Mathcad Client to
publish technical material on the Internet.
Mathcad Client also supports AutoCAD software,
enabling you to embed calculations and
other content in the application.
The application makes it possible for you to
share your work with those who may not have access
to a Mathcad application. Mathcad Client enables users
to interact with, save, and print documents with their
own annotations. It automatically restricts changes to
the structure of original documents; authors can add restrictions
to help protect their work.
Mathcad 2001 software features a high-performance
calculation engine, region dependency analysis capabilities,
as well as a modeling and simulation module that
lets you create prototypes and test systems. A software
development kit allows you to build custom Mathcad
components.

has been improved.
