Venue Requirements<br />

• Contractor to supply a <strong>PA</strong> system, drapes, lighting, looms, cabling, power<br />

distribution & multicores including delivery, set up & packdown<br />

• Stage Area is 10m x 18m Hoeker, outside Budawang<br />

• A 3m x 3m hoeker will be provided for FOH<br />

• Staging will be provided (6m x 3m x 0.4m)<br />

• Dancefloor will be provided (9m x 12m)<br />

• Backdrop will be provided<br />

• Sufficient power outlets will be provided (1 x 3 Phase + 3 x 15A GPO)<br />

• This venue is an outdoor venue and cannot be sealed or locked<br />

• Seating capacity = 500 (including 6 x bleachers)<br />

• Stage Management Crews & Emcees will be provided<br />

• Many acts work with recorded music in this venue, with some live<br />

accompainment to dance performances<br />

• This venue will consist of programmed acts & workshop performances<br />

General Info<br />

• NO VEHICLES are permitted to move onsite between 8am - 11pm each<br />

day of the festival. There will be NO exeptions to this rule.<br />

• Bump in must be complete by Thurs 21 April 4pm, and vehicles removed<br />

from site, or moved to a pre-approved parking space on festival grounds<br />

• Bump out cannot commence prior to 11pm Mon 25 April<br />

• You must provide the Production Manager of your arrival time & how many<br />

vehicles will be entering the site at least 1 MONTH PRIOR to the event<br />

• You must also provide a list of staff names to the Production Manager at<br />

least 1 MONTH PRIOR to the event<br />

• Additional OHS requirements are now expected, please refer to OHS<br />

section at conclusion of tender to confirm compliance details.<br />

Additional Requirements & OHS<br />

• Note that the above labour requirements specify minimum crew allocation<br />

at any given time. It is the contractors responsibility to ensure staff do not<br />

work excessive hours and are given adequate breaks. A proposed crew<br />

schedule must be included with your quotation<br />

• The festival will provide a backdrop for this venue, the sucessful contractor<br />

is required to hang this backdrop<br />

• All contractors must comply with current ACT OHS legislation to provide<br />

safe work practices & instructions to their employees. Relevant<br />

documentation including (but not limited to): Safe Work Method Statements,<br />

Job Safety Analysis/ Risk Management Plan, Engineering Certificates for<br />

Structural works, EH&S Management System are required upon request<br />

• Relevant insurances including (but not limited to): Public Liability,<br />

Professional Indemnity and Workers Compensation are also required upon<br />

request.<br />

• Contractor to provide fire extinguisher in case of equipment electrical fire<br />

• All electical cords must be tagged and tested as per AS/NZS 3760:2010 Inservice<br />

safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment<br />
