their 50th anniversary May
31, 2010, with a family dinner
and a trip with their
children to New York.
Robert and the former
J’Lyn McDonald were married
May 31, 1960, in Behrens
Chapel on the campus
of Hardin-Simmons University
in Abilene.
The couple have a son,
Robin Ryan and wife, Cindy,
of Grapevine, and a daughter,
Stephanie Waldo and
husband, Joey, of Alvord.
Grandchildren are Daryl,
Reed and Graham Ryan of
Grapevine and Spencer and
ROBERT AND J’LYN RYAN

Robert is a retired school
administrator and mayor
of Runaway Bay. He is a
member of Grace Fellowship
Church in Paradise, the
Bridgeport Lions Club and
Retired Teachers of Wise
County.
J’Lyn is a retired business
teacher. She is involved in
the Civic Club of Runaway
Bay, the Ladies Golf Association,
Retired Teachers of
Wise County and is a member
of Grace Fellowship
Church in Paradise.
The couple enjoys supporting
