Mumbai and Kolkata in Public-Private Partnership. Detailed model Project Reports for the above
markets have been prepared by National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM), Jaipur,
NCDC (Kolkata) and Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board (Mumbai) and are
available at NIAM for further details. These markets would cover fruits, vegetables, flowers,
aromatics, herbs, meat and poultry.

to take advantage of the

Proposed Project : Modern Terminal Market for Fruits and Vegetables at Nasik.
Area Proposed : 89.73 acre out of which 37 acres in 1st phase of the said project. Rest for future
expansion and phase II development.
Major sourcing areas : Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Karnal, Ambala etc.
Handling capacity : Terminal Market - 700 MT/day and 2.25 lakh MT/year. Collection Centre -
35 MT/day and 7000 MT/Year per collection centre.
