ENGLISH
1. Collect information about any famous girl or woman in the field of sports, education, social
work, business, politics, art and culture etc. Write a paragraph on A4 size sheet and put it in a
decorative file. Draw or cut and paste pictures (Roll No 1-17)
Make a scrap book on the chosen personality . (Roll No 18- 36)
Make a collage on the chosen personality . (Roll No 37-50)
Project :- Refer to page 6 of the English Reader. Make a mobile on famous women personalities
and decorate it.
GENERAL SCIENCE
1. Choose any 2 migratory birds or animals. Collect the following information about them and
write it in your science note books.
1. Name
2. Where do they live.
3. Which place /continent they migrate
4. Reason for their migration.
5. Trace / write their migratory path.
Draw / Paste pictures of these birds or animals.
2. Collect seeds dispersed by wind, water, animals and explosion. Put them neatly in zip-lock
pouches, label them and keep them in a box.

Project :- Women have excelled everywhere, even in the field of science. They have made
discoveries, explored the universe and done much more. Make a chart on any one woman who has
excelled in the field of science. You may draw/ paste pictures and write about their contribution.
SOCIAL STUDIES
1. Collect information about the land of hot sand - Saudi Arabia - under the following subheadings.
You can either make a chart, power point presentation or model using relevant pictures and
illustrations.
a. Climate
b. Location
c. Plant and animal life
d. Transport and communication
e. Occupation, food and clothes.
2. The status of women in India has been a subject to great change over the past many years. List
the ways showing the importance of women in the Indian society as one of the important human
resource for the development of our country.
The above project can be presented either in the form of chart/collage/ project file or computer
presentation (power point).
MATHS
1. Do any 5 of the following activities of Mathemagic on A4 sheets and arrange them in a folder.

V A – Make one Tangram model on thermocole or card board.
V B – Make a model of symmetrical butterfly or symmetrical flower on thermocole or cardboard.
V C – Make a model of any object (flower, animal, tree, design) using polygons. (Use atleast 4
different polygons)
V D – Make a chart on fractions.

Cut 6 equal paper strips, cut the first strips into 2 equal parts. Cut the second into 4 equal parts
parts. Cut the third into 8 equal parts, the fourth into 3 equal parts and the fifth into 6 equal parts.
Now combine two or more different parts of the paper strips to get one whole (Make atleast 5 such
combinations)
