4 Start Definiens Developer
You can undock a window as follows:
• Drag the window to the center of the screen. The window is undocked when the
outlines change to a small rectangle while you drag.
• Press Ctrl while dragging. This allows you to move the undocked window anywhere
on your screen. If you release the Ctrl key while still dragging, the window will snap
to the edge of the main window again.

4.6 Customize the User Interface
You can customize the user interface according to your preferences and modify each
preset layout separately.
After closing and reopening Definiens Developer, the customized user interface is
loaded.

To customize and reset toolbars, keyboard shortcuts and menus, choose View >
Customize on the main menu bar to open the Customize dialog box.

To go back to the default settings, select View > Restore Default on the main menu bar.
To change the appearance of the application, go to View >Application Appearance
and select one of the following:
• Office 2000
• Office XP
• Office 2003
• Windows XP
• Visual Studio 2005
