Arrival via Maldivian Air Taxi
“Relax in style”- this is the beginning and end to any stay at the Lily
Beach Resort & Spa. Guests at the resort are welcomed by our staff at
Malé international airport on arrival and departure. All guests are
granted access to the VIP lounge at the MAT terminal, where various
snacks, hot and cold drinks, Wi-Fi internet, cable TV and a washroom
with shower are available.
The paradisiacal island of Huvahendhoo lies in the southern Ari Atoll,
a 25 minutes flight from Malé International Airport. The transfer via
seaplane is carried out by Maldivian Air Taxi (MAT), which serves 44
resorts with a fleet of over 22 Twin Otters. Lily Beach Resort & Spa
assists with flight planning and reservation in order to ensure convenient
transfer times in accordance with the international arrival and
departure times.
To comply with the air safety regulations of the Maldivian government
the sea plane transfers are only carried out in daylight hours.
