2007-Up Twin Cam ® Applications<br />

For over 3 decades, Red Shift Cams have been the choice of high performance engine builders. Red<br />

Red Shift ® Cams for 2007-Up Twin Cam ® Models<br />

The stroked crankshaft in the 96” engine changes the dynamic from ’06 and earlier model 88” engines, making correct cam<br />

choice crucial to avoid engine damaging detonation with today’s fuel quality. Some models require adjustable pushrods and<br />

are available in chain or gear drive. Spring work required unless otherwise noted as a bolt-in cam. We recommend new cam<br />

bearings and performance tappets with any cam change. *These cams can also be used in 2006 FXD engines<br />

525-HS: Bolt-in cam for 96” and 103” Twin Cam® engines<br />

with stock, unmodified heads. Perfect for 96” and 103”<br />

2007-Up Touring models, this cam was developed to deliver<br />

immediate passing power in 6th gear at any typical cruising<br />

speed. Can be used with stock or adjustable pushrods.<br />

577-HS: Great for 103” and larger engines with good<br />

breathing heads and increased compression. Provides<br />

smooth power without detonation. Broader timing for lower<br />

cranking compression and more top-end pull. <strong>Performance</strong><br />

springs recommended.<br />

with stock, unmodified heads. Great bolt-in upgrade for<br />

conversions. Increases torque and horsepower across the<br />

board, with emphasis on torque.<br />

627-HS: Aggressive design for high output 103” and larger<br />

engine conversions. Compliments ported heads, hi-flow<br />

throttle body, exhaust. Static compression range 10.5 and<br />

up. Broad torque curve, strong pull to 6,000+ RPM.<br />
