Our God not only saves but
also heals. Many at the
Miracle Service experienced
His salvation and the following
testimonies demonstrate His
healing grace:
Six months ago, Anthony Sng
suffered a stroke and was
bedridden. Three months
later, when he was able to sit
up, he came to the Miracle
Service in a wheelchair. He
attended the service six times
and was touched and healed
progressively. Tonight, he
stood up and gave glory to
God for his miraculous
healing. He could now walk
and even drive. God had
healed him totally. Hallelujah!
For 10 years, Neoh Kien Kee
was plagued with ringing
sound in his right ear. He
started attending the Miracle
Service since March this
year to pray for his healing.
Tonight, half way through the
service he realized that the
ringing and buzzing sound
had reduced by 95%. He was
indeed confident that the
other 5% would be totally
gone in Jesus’ Name!
In June this year, Seow Lai
Watt suffered terrible pain in
his left cheek and nostrils.
The pain would be triggered
with the slightest touch on
his left cheek or nostrils. As
a result, washing face and
even breathing hurt. So he
went to a dentist and did
an X-ray but was told that
there was nothing wrong.
He was also recommended
to an ENT specialist and
was scheduled to see him
again in mid November.
Meanwhile, he attended
the Miracle Service on
two occasions. After that,
he realized that he could
breathe easily and touch
his face without any pain.
Praise God, before he could
meet with a specialist, he
was already healed in Jesus’
Name!
James Quek, an 18-yearold
student first came to
Lighthouse when he was in
Secondary 2. At that time,
he had problems managing
his anger. Earlier, he did
poorly in his PSLE. Hence,
he lost confidence in his
education and wanted to
give up studying. However,
after he started attending the
Miracle Service regularly,
he realized that his life
has changed for the better.
Once he received healing
of his chest pain and this
propelled him to trust God.
So he grew in confidence and
began to work hard on his
studies. Now studying in the
Polytechnic, he did better
than expected in the
recent examinations.
Praise the Lord!
Three weeks ago, 12-yearold
Matthew Chuang
was diagnosed with liver
inflammation. He was
hospitalized immediately
for more than a week. All
sorts of tests and scans
were done on him. He was
not getting better but felt
lethargic and could not eat.
Then he was supposed to go
for a biopsy. Matthew prayed
and hoped that it could be
averted as the procedure
would disrupt his upcoming
PSLE. Last week he came
to the Miracle Service to be
prayed for and after that
his condition improved. One
day before the scheduled
biopsy, his blood was taken
for liver function test and it
yielded good results. He was
delighted because it would
mean that the biopsy was not
needed and he could sit for
his exams. Indeed this young
boy was grateful to God for
his speedy recovery. Jesus is
worthy of all praise!

Pastor Rony, in his sermon Acts of Lighters, issued a
call for us to keep our Miracle Service [and certainly,
other harvest events] in focus. Like it or not, we
cannot deny this clarion call to engage in the task of
evangelism. Come Lighters, gear up for the upcoming
Miracle Breakthrough. Mark November 25 and 26
(Friday and Saturday) on your calendar. This is going
to be a landmark event in the history of our church.
Hear the call, put faith into action. Let’s reach our
loved ones and friends for His glory.
Prepare yourself spiritually for this event! Come and
join us at the Miracle Breakthrough Prayer Retreat,
from November 23 to 25 (Wednesday to Friday), in
Thistle Johor Bahru. We will be spending time before
the throne of God, waging spiritual warfare, casting
out unbelief, darkness and sicknesses and interceding
for an unprecedented breakthrough. Let’s expect God
to send a revival into our land.

With Dr David Eckman
Dr. David Eckman will be back with
us again in early November. He is the
co-founder and senior lecturer of
Becoming What God Intended Ministries
(BWGI), which fosters spiritual
transformation through helping people
understand who they are in Christ.
On November 3 and 4 (Thursday and
Friday), he will be conducting day and
night seminars on the subject Creating
A Healthy Family: How To Leave
Dysfunctionalism and A Performance-
Based Family Behind. The seminars
will address family backgrounds and
their impact on our understanding.
It also shows individuals how to be
re-parented by God the Father. And
on November 6 (Sunday), he will be
preaching four different messages on
the subject Gift of Sonship.
The day seminars will be conducted
from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and the night
seminars from 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm in
Lighthouse Tampines.

Touchlight
Support
Group
The church is well aware of the profound
impact autism has on families. It can be
extremely demanding and draining on
both the parents and caregivers of such
children.
Touchlight Ministry is launching its first
support group on Saturday, November 12,
in LE Tampines from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. It
will be an avenue for these parents to meet
others with similar experiences and to find
support, share ideas and gain information.
The objective of the meeting is for families
to understand the power of God and how
prayer can change families encountering
autism and related disabilities.
Next year, this support group will meet
whenever there is a 5th Saturday. The
venue of the meeting will alternate between
LE Tampines and LE Woodlands. Please
feel free to join us whenever possible!

Title: A step of faith -
in the right direction.
Brother Michael Sim is no stranger to making
difficult choices. A devoted father of five and
a passionate Lighter who serves faithfully
in church, he knows that choices come with
consequences and convictions. While he
candidly admits that he had made mistakes in
the past, he is convicted that God had allowed
him to go through those mistakes. Now he
could identify with and minister more closely
to others, especially young adults living in this
day and age.
With deep enthusiasm, Brother Michael said,
“I was asking the Lord, ‘Where else can I
serve You?’ and He brought into my heart
people aged 18 to 35." It is to this very group
that he will minister to at the upcoming
Reachlight Young Adult Retreat.
It's time for us to seek Him and take a
step of faith to hear His gentle whispers at
the Crossroads Retreat from Thursday to
Saturday, December 15 to 17, at Holiday Inn

The Seven Seals
written by Pastor Rony Tan

The First Seal
In the visitation by the risen
and glorified Lord, John was
given the awesome privilege
to witness both the glorious
wonders of Heaven and the
horrendous judgments on
earth.
In the heavenly congregation
of saints and angels before
the throne of God, the scroll
was transferred from the
hand of God the Father to
the risen Lamb, signifying
that all power has been
returned to the Lord Jesus
Christ. Therefore, He now
has the absolute power and
authority and is in absolute
control. He has the right to
judge the world and then rule
the entire universe with His
redeemed saints.
The Apostle John was given
four foreboding visions of
the horsemen of Apocalypse.
Each one features a horse
and a rider. The color of each
horse was being specified
and the description of each
rider was given.
As John saw and began
to put in words the
composite pictures of the
four visions specifying
the colors of the horses
and the characteristics of
the horsemen, it is God’s
intention for the hearers
and readers of the Book of
Revelation to know the story
and the meaning behind each
vision. Each one is about a
major coming world event.
Let’s study the first vision.
As we begin to look ahead
of time to discover the soon
coming future of this world,
is it full of promise or full
of dread?
Revelation 6:1-2
Now, watch the scenario
carefully. The Lamb of God
(the risen Christ) broke the
first seal of the scroll, but
He did not open the scroll to
read. The seal breaking is
merely symbolic of a
hidden mystery that was
being disclosed.
One of the four living
creatures loudly thundered,
“Come and see!” Immediately,
John heard and saw. It was a
vision depicting an endtime
event. John saw a white
horse with a rider who had a
bow. Conspicuously missing
were the arrows. A crown
was given to him because
he had none. After that, he
went forth conquering.
Now, who is this character?
This imposing personality
could be easily mistaken for
the Lord Jesus Christ. Some
Bible scholars and preachers
have quoted Revelation 19:11-
16 to support this view.
Revelation 19:11-16
There are four ideas and
imageries of similarity
in both the passages of
Revelation chapters 6 and
19. They seem to conspire
together to deceive us that
the rider is Christ Jesus.
They are:
– a picture of a horse and
a rider
– a white horse
– a crowned potentate
– a conquering king.
Take a closer look and you
will see stark differences. In
fact, there are at least five
glaring differences.
