Sustainable design principles for the built environment<br />

Lobby state and federal governments so that contemporary planning and<br />

design principles regularly inform planning controls<br />

Investigate the provision of development incentives for buildings that deliver<br />

high environmental performance<br />

Partner with the commercial sector to promote the benefits of sustainable<br />

design to local businesses and developers<br />

impacts on residential and employment lands in relation to impacts on natural<br />

systems, transport and social infrastructure<br />

Expansion of sustainable transport options<br />

Work with the community, businesses and the state government to increase<br />
