Our Technologies and Systems
ELGA Process Water sets the standard in dialysis water
treatment and is the only company producing ultraclean
permeate by the combination of reverse osmosis
and a thermally sanitised ultra-filtration unit, combining
simultaneous heat-disinfection of the ring-main to the
dialysis machines.
Reverse osmosis represents the best water purification
technology for dialysis. We have a wide range of reverse
osmosis systems that incorporate a host of technologically
advanced features that ensure patient safety and reliability
over many years’ service.
Heat Sanitisation and Ultrafiltration
Nephro SAFE – features a combination of continuous ultra
filtration during dialysis operation, followed by a fully flexible
heat sanitisation programme during dialysis free time.
The Nephro SAFE:
‰ Ensures bacteria free water through ultra filtration
‰ Continuously eliminates microorganisms and
endotoxins from the system
‰ Saves energy and water by heat sanitising through
the dialysis machine
The range includes:
Modula S-XL – features a duplex (duty/standby) reverse
osmosis unit on a single compact skid. It delivers a high
permeate flow of between 1400 and 3500 litres per hour for
larger hospital ring-mains. This system has been specially
designed to incorporate our latest water saving ‘ECO Mode’
and fail-safe ‘Sure Supply’ technologies to:
‰ Keep waste water to a minimum
‰ Reduce energy consumption normally associated
with pumps
‰ Ensure uninterrupted supply of compliant water
to your patients
Modula S-TP – features twin pass reverse osmosis for optimal
safety and microbiological quality. The system delivers flow
rates from 350 to 1750 litres per hour for medium size renal
installations.

supply of compliant water to your patients
Nephro SAFE
HemoRO – compact, quiet and easy to operate, the HemoRO
is ideal for home use. Additionally the outstanding permeate
quality and microbiological safety means it is also particularly
suitable for acute and intensive care dialysis.

Modula S-XL Water Saving
Technology allows the RO
membranes to be switched on and
off as the water demand within
the ring main rises and falls. This
is also paralleled by the Modula
S-XL variable speed duplex pumps.
This unique combination ensures
that any waste water is kept to a
minimum as well as considerably
reducing the energy consumption
normally associated with pumps.
Media Supply Panels
We have a wide selection of media and service supply panels
that have been designed to meet patient and nursing staff
needs. The panels both conceal the system piping and
centralise the supply lines and fittings for purified water,
concentrate(s) and drainage into one place. The media panels
can be easily integrated into existing wards or designed as part
of a new build.

facility to run our systems in
manual mode and bypass the
main control board. This enables
uninterrupted supply of compliant
water to ensure patients can
continue with treatment.
Hamburg Media Supply Panel
Central Concentrate Supply System
Dialysis concentrates can be centrally supplied by the CeCon
Central Concentrate Supply System. This compact unit can
supply up to three different floors of a building if required.
It is simple to operate and eliminates the need for personnel
to handle heavy concentrate canisters. In addition it provides
significant cost savings on storage and waste disposal.

First Class Project Management and Service
Whether you require a completely new installation or
refurbishment/modification of an existing system, ELGA Process

Our experienced team of engineering consultants and project
managers will advise you on the best technology for your needs
and project manage every step of the process through delivery,
installation, calibration, commissioning and training to successful
handover.
AQUAservice
Following installation, we provide unrivalled after sales support
with a range of service response contracts. Our AQUAservice
contracts offer multi-year agreements and extended warranty
options. with 4hr, 8hr, and 24hr response times. Our engineers
are fully qualified to work on renal water systems within a
medical devices environment, and can be on site within 4 hours
of receiving a breakdown call. We take health and safety very
seriously and are an accredited SAFEcontractor partner. All of our
Engineers have received CCNSG safety passport training.
Aquamove
We can help you manage all aspects of your water treatment
cycle including disaster recovery planning and the supply of
temporary purified water, during planned maintenance or
emergency call out.
Our dedicated Aquamove team provide emergency support 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. They will organise for a mobile water
treatment system to be with you as a matter of urgency ensuring
continuity of your requirement for treated or purified water.
Training
