During Level 2 learners in the Media Studies course will be working toward NCEA
Achievement Standards. This course will be offered to learners who have been selected as
being capable of working to the levels required to undertake the achievement standard
course.
Learners will be required to complete a series of assignments and assessments that will
earn them credits, both through internal assessment and external assessment.
Course pre-requisites or co-requisites:
Course Prerequisites/ Requirements
Learners will be working between levels 6 - 8 in the national curriculum, therefore the
prerequisite will require students to be working at or above these levels at the time of
selection, this will be determined by the results of their credits achieved through level 1.
