<strong>Sabres</strong> Personnel Michael Gilbert Director of Public Relations Ph 716.855.4526 michael.gilbert@sabres.<strong>com</strong> Kevin Snow Manager of publications and hockey Information Ph 716.855.4509 kevin.snow@sabres.<strong>com</strong> Michael Gilbert begins his 11th season with the <strong>Sabres</strong> organization, serving as the Director of Public Relations. Gilbert oversees the Public Relations Department for the <strong>Sabres</strong>, as well as for the <strong>Buffalo</strong> Bandits (NLL) and the Community Relations, youth hockey and fan development for the organization. Prior to joining the <strong>Sabres</strong>, Gilbert was the Director of Public Relations for the New Jersey Devils from 1995-97. He was part of the staff in New Jersey that earned the professional hockey Writers’ Association’s Dick Dillman Award for excellence in public relations for the 1996-97 season. Gilbert’s success followed him to the <strong>Sabres</strong> where the Communications Department was acknowledged with the Dillman Award in 1997-98. Before his move to the <strong>NHL</strong>, Gilbert was the Assistant Director of Public Relations for the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles for four years (1991-95), assisting with the day-to-day operations of that team’s PR department. His football background also includes stints as Assistant Director of Public Relations for the Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks of the WLAF (1991) and was a graduate assistant with the <strong>Buffalo</strong> Bills (1988-90). The move to the <strong>Sabres</strong> represented a home<strong>com</strong>ing for Gilbert, who grew up in the <strong>Buffalo</strong> suburb of Tonawanda. He graduated from Canisius College in <strong>Buffalo</strong> with degrees in <strong>com</strong>munications and history. He and his wife Amy reside in Amherst, N.Y., with their sons, Mark (8) and Jack (6), and daughter, Grace (4). Kevin Snow is in his third season with the <strong>Sabres</strong>’ as the club’s Manager of Publications & Hockey Information. He is the editor of the media guide, yearbook, game program; prepares the game notes; writes press releases; coordinates media credentials, and manages the press box on game nights. Prior to joining the <strong>Sabres</strong> in August 2005, he was the Communications Coordinator for WNED-TV in <strong>Buffalo</strong> (2002-04), and a Sports Reporter with the Associated Press (2002). Before relocating to <strong>Buffalo</strong> in October 2000, he worked at TV <strong>Guide</strong> Canada in Toronto, where he was the Sports Columnist (1994-98) and Sports Editor (1998-2000). Born in Calgary, Alta., and raised in Mississauga, Ont., Snow graduated from the Print Journalism program at Sheridan College (Oakville, Ont.) in 1991. He and his wife Christine live in <strong>Buffalo</strong>, NY, with their daughter, Alexandra (5). Chris Bandura Coordinator of <strong>Media</strong> Relations Ph 716.855.4515 chris.bandura@sabres.<strong>com</strong> Chris Bandura enters his third season as the <strong>Sabres</strong> Coordinator of <strong>Media</strong> Relations. As the primary contact between the team and the media at home and on the road, he is responsible for arranging player interviews, coordinating press conferences and assisting in player and team operations. Before joining the <strong>Sabres</strong>, Bandura spent two years as the <strong>Media</strong> Relations Coordinator for the Rochester Sports Group, which consists of the Rochester Americans (AHL), Rochester Raging Rhinos soccer team (USL First Division), Rochester Knighthawks indoor lacrosse team (NLL) and the Rochester Rattlers outdoor lacrosse team (MLL). Prior to his stint in Rochester, Bandura was the Vice President of Operations for the Columbus Landsharks of the National Lacrosse League (2001-03). Bandura also spent time in the NLL Front Office as the Director of <strong>Media</strong> Relations (1999-2000). A 1999 graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University, Bandura was born and raised in Cheektowaga, NY. He and his wife, Kimberly, reside in West Seneca, NY, with their daughter Rosalie (1).
