Dear International Students!<br />
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the International English and<br />
Professional Programs at <strong>UC</strong> <strong>Davis</strong> <strong>Extension</strong> on the campus of the<br />
University of California, <strong>Davis</strong>. Our programs present a number of<br />
opportunities to connect you to this top-ranked research university,<br />
through enrollment in courses that provide quality learning in a<br />
supportive environment. We continually respond to our clients’<br />
needs and have developed new programs for science and engineering<br />
students, as well as pre-service and in-service teachers.<br />
Our English language programs will help you become a more<br />
fluent and effective communicator in English and will expand<br />
your awareness and understanding of American culture. Students<br />
planning further study in the U.S. will be well prepared<br />
for success with our demanding advanced work in academic<br />
language and preparation programs.<br />
International English and Professional Programs is a member of<br />
the following professional organizations: University and College<br />
Intensive English Programs (<strong>UC</strong>IEP), Association of International<br />
Educators (NAFSA), American Association of Intensive<br />
English Programs (AAIEP) and the University of California Consortium<br />
of English Language and Professional Training Programs.<br />

The IEPP has several sister units within the Center for International<br />
Programs, notably the International Law Programs and<br />
the Global Study Program, which provide innovative courses for<br />
lawyers, legal professionals, judges and institutional partners,<br />
