the Danube and cover<strong>in</strong>g an area of 17,000 hectares. Kopački Rit<br />

is home to around 40 species of freshwater fish, 267 species of<br />

marsh birds and one of the largest natural fish nurseries <strong>in</strong> Central<br />

Europe. The reserve offers stunn<strong>in</strong>g scenery of nature <strong>in</strong> its most<br />

diverse and untamed form.<br />
