techniques taking into consideration the training <strong>of</strong><br />

practitioners, the equipment required <strong>and</strong> the<br />

training/experience required <strong>of</strong> other supporting clinical<br />

staff.<br />

2.6.4 The Medical Advisory Committee monitors <strong>and</strong> regularly reviews<br />

in<strong>for</strong>mation collated on the clinical work undertaken at the<br />

establishment. Reviews include but not limited to the following ­<br />

(i) any deaths reportable under the Coroners Ordinance<br />

(Cap.504);<br />

(ii) unplanned returns to operating theatre;<br />

(iii) adverse clinical incidents <strong>and</strong> sentinel events;<br />

(iv) complaints on per<strong>for</strong>mance <strong>of</strong> medical practitioners;<br />

(v) quality assurance or audit reports; <strong>and</strong><br />

(vi) reported sentinel events.<br />
