CE Conformity<br />
At Bibby Scientific we rigorously test our electrical products against<br />
the CE and Safety standards in place. In addition, the majority of our<br />
products are independently tested by an accredited test house. This<br />
is reinforced by comprehensive technical and manufacturing data<br />

WEEE & RoHS Regulations<br />
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (“the WEEE<br />
Regulations- Directive 2002/96/EC”) legislation is now in place in the<br />
UK. The primary purpose of the WEEE directive is the prevention of<br />
waste electrical and electronic equipment, and to require the re-use,<br />
recycling and other forms of recovery as to reduce such waste<br />
disposal to landfill or incineration.<br />
The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in<br />
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2005 (“the RoHS<br />
Regulations - Directive 2002/95/EC”) have now been passed into UK<br />
legislation. The primary purpose of these regulations is to restrict the<br />
use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium,<br />
polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ether<br />
(PBDE) in new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market<br />
in the European Union after July 1, 2006.<br />
As a responsible manufacturer, Bibby Scientific will comply with such<br />
regulation as it affects our products, and will continue to promote<br />
“clean” environmental manufacturing practices.<br />

The Bibby Scientific quality assurance system was first approved in<br />
1993, and is currently certified to the International Quality Standard<br />
