A message from the 2nd VP & Gala Chair
elcome to the AWC Gala! We’re so glad you could join
Wus this evening! We have a lovely event planned for you,
but the real beauty is in helping those who are less fortunate
in Thailand. Of course, I’m referring to those who our Gala
Recipients serve. Please read more about both organizations
here in your program.
We have some wonderful auction items this evening that will raise funds to support
both organizations: luxurious offerings from Eastern Carpets, stunning artwork from
Markings Studios & magnificent jewelry from SJ’s to name a few. Have fun with the
Live Auction & don’t forget about bidding in the Silent Auction, too!
I’d like to thank the amazing ladies who have worked diligently to bring you
this lovely evening. It’s been a real pleasure to work with each of these beautiful,
talented, and generous women. Special thanks to our Gala Fundraising Chair,
Nicki Deidrick; she’s done a marvelous job. I’d also like to thank Vicki Moore for
her guidance, encouragement & unwavering support.
Please, enjoy the evening & be sure to take home some of the extraordinary items

he reasons you are all here tonight are twofold: to have
Ta wonderful fun time and to assist the less fortunate
throughout the Thai community. Everyone who helped
sponsor this event, bought a ticket or volunteered to work
played a very important part in making tonight a resounding
success. On behalf of the AWC, our sincerest thanks.
A very special “Thank You” to our sponsors. Their
generous cash donations and in-kind contributions are
sure to help raise lots of baht for our two recipients, Ruth Center of the Project
L.I.F.E. Foundation and The Education for Development Foundation (EDF)
as well as other ongoing AWC supported charities. A huge “Thank You” to the
Gala Committee, led by our 2nd Vice President, Christy Larson. Their undying
commitment to this project and endless volunteer hours show in every aspect of
