Dear Colleague:
The Society for Vascular Nursing (SVN) is excited to announce its 25 th Anniversary Meeting.
The 2007 Convention will take place at the Sheraton City Center in Baltimore, Maryland,
June 6–9, 2007, in conjunction with the 2007 Vascular Annual Meeting at the Baltimore
Convention Center.
The SVN is an organization of professional vascular nurses dedicated to the compassionate and
comprehensive care of persons with vascular disease. Our Annual Convention provides the opportunity
for vascular nurses to attend a meeting specifically designed and developed for their specialty.
SVN members are committed to the excellent care of vascular patients. Many members are
Advanced Practice Nurses with Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Nursing
Education Specialist Certifications. In addition to recommending and administering treatment
modalities, including medication, compression garments, and wound care, many have
prescribing privileges. CardioVascular Nursing Certification administered through ANCC has
been achieved by many of our members independent of educational preparation.
This year’s meeting brings a unique opportunity to support two major meetings at once.
Registrants for the SVN meeting will visit and support those companies registered at the Vascular
Annual Meeting at the Baltimore Convention Center. However if you wish to exhibit with the
Vascular Nurses at the Sheraton City Center, please complete the enclosed application.
The SVN is requesting your financial support. We hope we can count on you to consider an
educational grant or to sponsor one of the available opportunities listed in this prospectus.
Exposure of your company’s support at the SVN Convention guarantees a receptive audience of
prospective clients. SVN participants look forward to viewing the exhibits and speaking with the
exhibitors to gain knowledge of the many innovative vascular products and services available.
I look forward to meeting you and your representatives in Baltimore!
Cordially,
