Vice Chairman’s Message<br />
It is my great pleasure to welcome all of you to the 23rd india festival.<br />
By far, <strong>India</strong> has the richest legacy of fairs and colorful festivals. No<br />
other country but india upon this earth is blessed with the unfurling<br />
and unfolding of a greater variety of feelings and fascinations. Her age<br />
old culture is a mosaic of human civilization. <strong>India</strong> is known for its rich<br />
heritage and culture. It is a country where people from different ethnic<br />
backgrounds live like a family.<br />
There is hardly a day when in some part of the country, a festival is not celebrated or a fair<br />
not held. <strong>Festival</strong>s play a very important role in bringing everyone together in order to celebrate<br />
our rich heritage. They provide an opportunity to share the joy and love of people, and in order to<br />
spread the communityís harmony.<br />
Far from home, here, at Tampa Bay, Gujarati Samaj has provided this plateform since 1988<br />
and has brought the community closer, celebrating their festivites. This is also a very unique opportunity<br />
to share and spread our proud heritage to the second generation of indian americans as<br />
well as the main stream of our american friends.<br />
Like every other successful event, this one has also been victorious by the diligent hard work<br />
of many committee members and volunteers. There are many names to list, so i would like to<br />
thank all of you and your family members for the effort and contribution. thanks to all the vendors<br />
and advertisers for their continuous support.<br />
A special thanks to mr. kanti bakarania for his examplery leadership.<br />
