MMA Foundation
Gary Lowe, Vice President of Advancement, reported on fundraising for FY11: some donors have not been able
to meet their original commitments but the department will invest in offering more return on investments for
donors by matching resources; more fundraising; and the cancellation of RADM Ball for FY12. Mr. Lowe
stated donors can donate online at the MMA website and can assign where the funds are used.
MMA Alumni Association
Trustee Mattson reported the membership drive is ongoing with providing 2011 graduates with a one year free
membership, an incentive for members to recruit; and alumni job board is growing. Upcoming events include:
Red Sox game; search for alumnus of the year; and Homecoming is scheduled for 16 September 2011.

Ms. Marissa Barros stated she had no report but would like to correct the agenda to reflect Mr. John Edwards as
the Unit II Steward.
