For the quick, safe and professional removal and replacement of wheel
bearings.
The special design of the press pieces enables safe and accurate centring and
alignment when changing wheel bearings. It ensures that when removing and
mounting the wheel bearing there will only be a pressure on the outer bearing
race, and that when mounting the wheel hub there will only be a pressure on the
inner bearing race. This prevents damage to the new wheel bearing.
The combination of centring rings and pressure rings creates press pieces which
can be adjusted accurately to the bearing-Ø.
Optionally a hydraulic 17t drive can be used if the wheel bearings are heavily
corroded or seized in place.
Complementing this tool set with other parts of the KL-0039 .. Series, such as
centring and pressure rings or press-/support sleeves, makes this wheel bearing
tool almost universal in its field of application. It can, therefore, also be used for
changing suspension ball joints or silentblocs.

Even very seized or corroded wheel bearings can easily be removed with the
tool set KL-0039-0100 that is used in conjunction with the hydraulic cylinder
KL-0040-2500.
