Foreword<br />
This booklet has been prepared by a Working Group of <strong>Education</strong>al<br />
Psychologists from the five Northern Irel<strong>and</strong> <strong>Education</strong> <strong>Board</strong>s, with<br />
representation also from the National <strong>Education</strong>al Psychology Service in the<br />
Republic of Irel<strong>and</strong>. It has been prepared at the request of the Northern Irel<strong>and</strong><br />
Regional Strategy Group on Special <strong>Education</strong>al Needs <strong>and</strong> has been funded<br />
by the Department of <strong>Education</strong> for Northern Irel<strong>and</strong>.<br />
