YOUTHBUILD GRADUATION
On Tuesday, March 13, 2012, CMHA held a
Youthbuild graduation event at Heritage
View Homes Community Center to honor
graduating CMHA students. “I have
developed great friendships and I feel lucky
to be a part of this program. In order to
succeed, I’ve learned to be very determined,
how to manage my time, and to be devoted,” said Shequētta
Washington, CMHA Youthbuild graduate. Youthbuild is a youth
and community development program that simultaneously
addresses core issues facing low-income communities including
housing, education, employment, crime prevention, and
had a positive influence on my achievements,” said Patrick
Baldwin, Youthbuild graduate. “I can not thank CMHA enough
for the opportunity and education I have received.”
