Since the 19 th century manroland and MAN produce printing presses
and diesel engines in Augsburg. The MAN Museum is dedicated to these
two products among other works of MAN engineering in the premises
of the former Research Institute for Mechanics and Design since 1953.
The production of flatbed presses starting in 1845 and the development
of the diesel engine by Rudolf Diesel beginning in 1893 where milestones
of the common history of both companies.
This tradition of innovations is the basis for the success to create the
future with reliable and groundbreaking products and a determined
and inspirational corporate culture.
We are looking forward to your visit at the MAN Museum – a joint
