assumes duties of the president in her absence.<br />

is responsible for the weekly student newsletter, upd<strong>at</strong>ing the Facebook page and ASWSUS<br />
webpage, responding to emails, and promoting activities on campus.<br />

is responsible for planning, scheduling, and promoting ASWSUS sponsored events.<br />

collabor<strong>at</strong>ively with the director of programming and events in planning the finances of the<br />

is responsible for working with the RSOs on campus as well as representing thegradu<strong>at</strong>e students<br />
on the <strong>Spokane</strong> campus by staying in contact with GPSA and the Gradu<strong>at</strong>e School.<br />

collabor<strong>at</strong>es with the gre<strong>at</strong>er <strong>Spokane</strong> community to provide service learning opportunities to<br />
students and, in cooper<strong>at</strong>ion with the other WSU campuses, advoc<strong>at</strong>es for students’ interests<br />
in Olympia.<br />
STUDENT GOVERNMENT<br />
Elections are held <strong>at</strong> the beginning of spring and fall semesters. Fall elections are intended to fill<br />
vacant positions. Sen<strong>at</strong>e meets twice a month and you are expected to serve on committees and<br />
post office hours. Sen<strong>at</strong>ors are given a small compens<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>at</strong> the end of each semester. If you are<br />
interested in serving in a Sen<strong>at</strong>e position, contact the ASWSUS office for more inform<strong>at</strong>ion!
