Association<br />
• Association started in 1977 with 6 teams<br />
• Started using local elementary school fields<br />
• Registration grown from approx. 1000 in 2001 to<br />
over 1500 in 2005

<strong>Soccer</strong> <strong>Fields</strong><br />
• Built in mid 1980's (expansion <strong>of</strong> fields in 1990's)<br />
• 2 full size fields & 2 3/4 fields<br />
• 3/4 fields utilized for mini fields<br />
• Lighting on both full size fields
Valley East <strong>Soccer</strong><br />
Participation Statistics (2005)<br />
• 1500 participants<br />
• 98 teams<br />
• 14 divisions<br />
• Leagues range from U4 to adult<br />
• Over 200 coaches

• 5 <strong>Fields</strong> at <strong>Howard</strong> <strong>Armstrong</strong> Recreation Centre<br />
• 3 <strong>Fields</strong> at École secondaire Hanmer<br />
• 1 Field at Confederation Secondary School<br />
• Occasional use <strong>of</strong> ÉSC l’Horizon<br />
• Fully utilizing area fields
