Summary/Conclusions
• Integration of modeling and simulation of kinetic and non-kinetic operations is
essential for effective future force training and analysis activities.
• OneSAF ® provides several benefits that make it a good choice for integration
with current and future electronic warfare (EW) modeling and simulation
capabilities.
– Composable – Interoperable – Extensible
– Open source (leverage Army development as well as contributions from other codeveloper
services/agencies)
– Can support training, analysis, research, experimentation, mission planning, and
rehearsal activities
• SAIC has already completed research and several successful proof-of-concept
integrations with OneSAF and EW capabilities.
– Urban radio frequency propagation modeling in high-fidelity synthetic environment
– Net-centric/cyber modeling using high-fidelity network simulation/emulation
