2008-09: Finished the season with averages of 11.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in 25<br />
appearances…started in 15 of the 25 games he played…recorded a career-high 24 points in the<br />
season-ending win over <strong>Missouri</strong>-St. Louis and also scored 21 – with a season-best five threepointers<br />
– in S&T’s first GLVC win of the season over Saint Joseph’s…reached double figures<br />
on 17 occasions, including five straight games from Jan. 8-22…led the Miners with 53 threepointers…also<br />
recorded 33 assists (with a high of five vs. <strong>Missouri</strong> Baptist and Drury) and 21 steals…shot 41.9 percent from<br />
the field, 39.3 percent from behind the arc and a team-best 88.4 percent at the line, the best mark for a Miner at the free throw<br />
line in five seasons.<br />
2007-08: Averaged 7.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game in 15 contests…missed the early stages of the year while<br />
recovering from an injury suffered in the pre-season…scored in double figures<br />
in five of his last eight games – his only double figure efforts of the year – with<br />
a high of 16 at SIU Edwardsville…also scored 14 against Bellarmine…shot 40<br />
percent from the field and 82.1 percent at the free throw line…had 12 assists<br />
and five steals.<br />
2006-07: Played in all 27 games and averaged 5.1 points and 1.6 rebounds<br />
per game…added 21 assists and 19 steals…was third on the team with his 24<br />
three-point baskets…shot 41.4 percent from behind the arc and 86.8 percent at<br />
the line…reached double figures on four occasions, topped by a 16-point effort<br />
against Central Christian when he made four-of-six from three-point range…also<br />
scored 14 in a victory over NCAA qualifier Wisconsin-Parkside, going five-ofseven<br />
from the field and four-of-five from long range…made 11 starts during the<br />
year.<br />
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 17.2 points -- which led the Archdiocesan Athletic<br />
Association, four rebounds, two assists and 1.7 steals per game last season at<br />
the high school level as he helped lead Cardinal Ritter to the <strong>Missouri</strong> Class<br />
3 state championship...played for <strong>Missouri</strong> Sports Hall of Fame coach Marvin<br />
Neals at Cardinal Ritter…shot 54 percent from the field, 48 percent from threepoint<br />
range and 80 percent at the free throw line to earn first-team all-state and<br />
all-conference honors...earned second-team all-metro St. Louis selection and a<br />
member of the St. Louis American’s “Fab Five” team for the 2005-06 season.<br />
PERSONAL: Son of Reginald and Candias Jones...majoring in business management...played on the St. Louis Eagles AAU<br />
team, is a good all-around athlete as he played football (as a quarterback) and baseball at the high school level.<br />
