2008-09: Started in 19 of the Miners’ 26 games during the season, finishing with averages of 5.6<br />

points and 4.5 rebounds per contest…scored a career-high 18 points in a win over <strong>Missouri</strong><br />

Baptist, one of two games in which he posted a double-double…had a career-best 16 boards<br />

in the MBU game and had his second double-double the following day against Central Bible…<br />

reached double figures in the scoring column five times…added a 17-point effort in the season<br />

opener against Harding…led the Miners with 31 blocked shots, with a season-high five against Harding…shot 46.7 percent<br />

from the field and 81.8 percent at the free throw line…made 16 consecutive free throws during one stretch.<br />

AT THREE RIVERS: Played two seasons at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Mo., for legendary coach Gene<br />

Bess…averaged 7.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game last season to help the Raiders finish with a record of 29-8…shot<br />

50.5 percent from the field and 73.2 percent at the line while finishing as<br />

his team’s third-leading rebounder…was also a force on the defensive end,<br />

averaging over two blocked shots per game a year ago and accumulating 128<br />

blocked shots in 74 games<br />

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Jackson High School, where he finished as his<br />

team’s top rebounder in his senior year…was named as the squad’s most<br />

outstanding player.<br />
