International Trauma Life Support (<strong>ITLS</strong>) prehospital trauma<br />
training courses combine classroom learning and hands-on<br />
skill stations to teach proven techniques in rapid assessment,<br />
appropriate intervention, and identification of immediate lifethreatening<br />
injuries.<br />
Skills stations include:<br />
Basic and Advanced Airway Management<br />
Short SMR Devices/Emergency Rescue and Rapid Extrication<br />
Traction Splints<br />
Helmet Management/Log-Roll/Long Backboard<br />
Chest Decompression/Fluid Resuscitation<br />
Patient Assessment and Management<br />
<strong>Courses</strong> include:<br />
<strong>ITLS</strong> Advanced or Basic certification and card upon<br />
successful completion of the course<br />
16 hours of CECB<strong>EMS</strong> CE credit<br />
Plus all course materials:<br />
<strong>ITLS</strong> 6th Edition <strong>Provider</strong> Manual<br />
<strong>ITLS</strong> lapel pin and patch<br />
(<strong>ITLS</strong> <strong>Provider</strong> Manual will be shipped to students in advance of course.<br />
Pin and patch will be picked up onsite with registration materials.)<br />
