SUMMER QUEST CAMP - Township of Springwater

The Township of Springwater offers a variety of fun-filled Summer Day Camps. Sumer Quest Campers will
enjoy making friends, weekly trips, swimming, active games and most importantly having FUN! Campers
visit Wasaga YMCA to swim on Tuesdays except week #5 due to the short week. Friday Camp Days are
awesome as campers spend the day at Bayview Memorial Beach for swimming, camp challenges and
enjoying a barbeque lunch.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT CAMP:
Each camp has specific age ranges to facility
quality programming. Camp supervisors take age
differences into account when programming camp
activities and placing campers in their groups.
Peanut Safe Zone
Due to the number of nut related allergies, peanut
butter, nut and any food that contains nut byproducts
will not be permitted at camp. Please
pack lunches with care

COOL ADVENTURE CAMPS
Youth Leadership Camp (2 weeks) Ages: 12-15 years
Leadership camp has been specially designed to give youth an opportunity to gain valuable experience and leadership
skills, and program/camp planning experience. During the first week campers will test their limits in a
TREE TOP TRECKING experience! During the second week, campers will participate in a leadership placement
at our Summer Quest Camp Program. Leadership shirts are provided.
*Week two can be spent in either Midhurst or Elmvale

Jr. Golf Camp
Ages: 8-13 years
This camp is excellent for both the beginner and avid golfer! Campers will spend ½ day at Orr Lake Golf and
Country Club, refining their skills with lessons from golf professionals and partaking in the game of golf. The
other ½ day will be spent at camp taking part in sports, games and traditional camp activities. On Friday campers
will travel to Memorial Park in Oro for a BBQ and swim. *campers are to bring golf clubs, or some can be
provided free of charge*

Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Camp Ages: 6 - 11 years
Campers step into the world of Harry Potter and spend the week at Hogwarts. The week begins with campers
reaching into the sorting hat to find out their house. Once divided into two houses, campers participate in
challenges and games to earn points. Potion making, Headfirst Quidditch, wand making, muggle magic tricks,
and more guarantee a fun-filled week. Who will win the House Cup?

Hockey Camp
Ages: 7-10 years
This camp is excellent for any hockey player! Campers will spend 2 hours developing their skills with Ontario
Minor Hockey Association Certified Coaches. The other ½ day will be spent at camp playing sports & activities.
Campers must have completed one year of organized minor hockey
*campers are to bring full equipment and running shoes *pick up @ 4:30
ELMVALE July 30 – Aug 3 (ice @ Wasaga Beach) Fee: $150

Sports Star Camp
Ages: 7 -11 years
Kick, Throw, Hit, Run! This camp will introduce campers to all aspects of sports. Campers will try various sports
including soccer, swimming, baseball, flag-football, ball hockey and more! There will be lots of different activities
to build team work, cooperation and skill development! On Friday campers spend the day at Memorial Park in a
mini-Olympic challenge, b.b.q. lunch and beach time fun!
HILLSDALE Aug 7 - 10 (four day week) Fee: $100
Chef’s Camp
Ages: 6 -11 years
This camp will introduce campers to the fundamentals of cooking and baking. Campers will spend their mornings
preparing their lunch and dessert. Baking, crafts and games will fill the afternoons with fun! This camp is sure to
teach participants quick, yummy, healthy classics that they can cook up at home! Campers will head to Bayview
Memorial Park Friday for camp day on the beach and prepare a lunch for campers in Summer Quest Day Camp.

Hollywood Stars Camp
Ages: 6 -11 years
Lights, Camera, Action! This camp will introduce campers to all aspects of theatre and performance. Campers
will work hard on creating a production which will be performed for family and friends on Friday!
